Getting Started with AI Visibility Tool
Everything you need to go from sign-up to your first AI visibility analysis in minutes.
TL;DR
Register a free Test tier account, create a topic area with your brand and search terms, run an analysis by selecting AI platforms and entering a prompt, then review your visibility score — a composite of mention count, position score, and sentiment across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude.
Step 1: Create Your Account
- Navigate to the registration page and click "Sign Up".
- Enter your email address and choose a secure password.
- Select a plan that fits your needs. The Test tier is completely free and lets you explore the tool right away.
- Confirm your registration — you will be logged in automatically.
Step 2: Create Your First Topic Area
Topic areas group your brand, competitors, and search terms so the tool knows what to monitor.
- Navigate to "Topic Areas" in the main menu.
- Click "Create Topic Area" and give it a descriptive name (e.g. your brand or product name).
- Add the search terms you want to track — these are the brand names and keywords the tool will look for in AI responses.
- Save your topic area. You can always edit it later to add or remove search terms.
Tip: Start with your own brand name as a search term. You can add competitor names later to compare visibility.
Step 3: Run Your First Analysis
An analysis sends a prompt to one or more AI platforms and checks how visible your brand is in the response.
- Go to the "Analyze" page from the main menu.
- Select the topic area you just created.
- Choose which AI platforms to query — ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, or all of them.
- Enter a prompt that a potential customer might type (e.g. "What are the best tools for ...?").
- Click "Run Analysis" and wait for the results. This usually takes a few seconds per platform.
Step 4: Understanding Your Results
After an analysis completes, you will see a detailed breakdown of your brand visibility across each AI platform.
Visibility Score
The overall visibility score (0–100) combines multiple factors into a single metric that shows how prominent your brand is in AI-generated responses. A higher score means better visibility.
Mention Count
The number of times your brand or search terms appear in the AI response. More mentions generally indicate stronger brand presence.
Position Score
Measures where in the response your brand appears. Being mentioned earlier (closer to the top) earns a higher position score — similar to ranking higher in traditional search results.
Sentiment
Indicates the tone of the AI response when mentioning your brand, ranging from -1 (negative) through 0 (neutral) to +1 (positive). Track sentiment over time to spot changes in how AI systems describe your brand.
